oh la la - fruit

Fruit, fruit, fruit, fruit …. I can’t stop thinking about fruit!

This wasn’t the topic that I was going to write about for my next blog entry but today I am a very happy girl ….. after a few months of basically only finding bananas (bananes) [yuck], oranges (oranges)  [haven’t ever eaten those], and apples (pommes) [getting to like them] when I went grocery shopping today there was fruit, fruit – yummy, yummy fruit.

I imagine I went overboard but I bought:

·       Raspberries (framboises)
·       Strawberries (fraises)
·       Blueberries (myrtilles)
·       Pineapple (ananas)
·       Grapes (raisins)
·       Golden Apples (pommes d'or)

In France, it is required that all fruit and vegetables be clearly marked what country they were grown in, all of the above with the exception of the grapes (argentine) and the pineapple (équateur), were grown in France – so I know they’re fresh!

I am so excited to eat fruit! Never thought I’d be saying those words – but it’s true. Yum, yum!

bon appétit

    1. there is a video of me eating my first (and last, so far) escargot - thankfully the friend who took the video can't figure out how to download it and get it to me, therefore i don't have to share it with you all ..... but .... basically, chewy rubber in garlic butter!
